I was always drawn to art as a child, from designing colorful fashions for paper dolls to watching my grandmother work with ceramics. Making art was the highlight of my school day, and I gained confidence as my artwork improved. It was this experience that led me in the direction of becoming an art teacher myself, and I have enjoyed transferring this love for art to the next generation of young artists. Making art today is still both a joy and a challenge, and an important part of my life. I love learning and experimenting with different painting techniques and media, and continue to look forward to the next new experience.
